The Higher Quest Foundation (sponsored by Trojan Labor and Acrux Staffing) is a non profit dedicated to ending global hunger in a sustainable way through the use of fish farming as well as supporting local initiatives around the United States.
Chase, a middle school boy from the Tampa Bay area in Florida is preparing for his third annual event to bring awareness to the Higher Quest Foundation. In 2015, at age 12, he biked 100 miles from Avon, CO to Aspen, CO in “100 Miles for Hunger.” Last year, he climbed Pikes Peak.
This year, we are pleased to announce that Chase, his father, Rick Hermanns (Hire Quest CEO), along with Benjamin Rasmussen (Trojan Labor District Manager) will be doing “Five 14ers for the Famished.” Over the summer, the trio will climb at least 5 of Colorado’s famous 14ers.
To qualify as a 14er a peak must have an elevation of at least 14,000 feet and be at least 300 feet higher than the saddle that connects it to the nearest other 14er peak.
